Today… SOME OF US ARE LIVING THE DREAM!! But… It’s the NEW dream that some of us Americans are living right now! Amazingly, it’s a dream that has two parts...
This is the NEW Dream! With companies Cutting Back and Cutting Out, jobs are America’s New Gold! Never in my lifetime has there been such a scarcity of jobs available. Companies are feeling the brunt of poor economic times. People are not buying. People don’t HAVE THE MONEY to buy! Companies can’t pay their debts. Companies have to Cut Back! That cut back, in most cases, results in the Loss of Jobs! The people Lose Their Jobs and then They Really Cant Buy!! And, it just didn’t help matters when the American government made it so easy for companies to outsource their job positions to other companies; whether they’re overseas or here in the U.S.!
I’m Lucky! I have a job! I’m Living The Dream! But, the question is this: Will my Luck Run Out; and, the Dream Become A Nightmare??
It’s time to WAKE UP! The reality is that The DREAM can always Go POOF; without you being notified. Is 60 days notification of impending layoff enough time for you to find something else?? Most of the over 20,000 GM workers didn’t think so. For those of us in the Dream with a job, We have to diversify our income and our lives in this day and age. What is Key is determining what else we find to do to supplement our income. And, for those without an income, what you can get started with.
